Accredited Portfolio Management AdvisorSM - APMA®

APMA Professional Designation Program

The Accredited Portfolio Management AdvisorSM, or APMA® program, is a graduate-level designation program for experienced financial professionals. The program covers the finer points of portfolio creation, augmentation, and maintenance.

Topics covered in the program include client assessment and suitability, risk/return, investment objectives, bond and equity portfolios, modern portfolio theory, investor psychology, and other topics germane to building appropriate client portfolios. Students gain hands-on practice in analyzing investment policy statements, building portfolios, and making asset allocation decisions, to include determining sell, hold, and buy decisions within a client’s portfolio.

Upon graduation, APMA® designees receive credit for the completion of FP513 in our  CFP® certification education program and earn 3 hours of credit toward an MS Degree in Personal Financial Planning.

Course Sessions

OnDemand courses are always available, and the next optional live courses will be offered during these dates. You can enroll and begin at any time using OnDemand, prerecorded course lectures.
