This program provides a 2019 update of the issues at the forefront of industry to assist the auditor in assessing risk. It also includes updates to FASB guidance through March 2019 with a specific section on the new not-for-profit financial statements, complete with disclosure examples. We will also discuss the FASB’s pending ASU related to the accounting for grants and contracts, as well as a discussion of the AICPA’s task force recommendations related to revenue recognition. This course also includes a single audit section which has been updated for the newly-issued Yellow Book and other new developments in compliance auditing.
